Travel Awards for the 2012 PHSANZ scientific meeting

Submissions are now open the for 2012 PHSANZ travel awards.

  • A travel grant will be awarded to the top 8 accepted abstracts for the 2012 PHSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held in Sydney November 16 2012 at the Amora Hotel Jamison.

  • Each travel grant will be to a maximum of $700 AUD travel and accommodation reimbursment for attendance to the 2012 PHSANZ Annual Scientific Meeting.

  • The award winners will be determined by the organising committee and abstract panel of the PHSANZ.

  • Abstracts must be submitted via the PHSANZ submission portal by 5pm September 14 2012.

  • Please refer to the PHSANZ website for abstract guidelines and further conference information.

FREE REGISTRATION - Registration for the 2012 PHSANZ Scientific meeting will be free of charge for current clinical society members (you can join via our website The official meeting venue for 2012 is the Amora Hotel Jamison, 11 Jamison Street, Sydney.

Paddling4PAH & Lesley Woods Family Fun Day -Windsor NSW, Sunday July 1st

The Autoimmune Resource & Research Centre is holding a major awareness & fundraising event for Autoimmunity & Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) from June 28-July 1.

There are three linked events commencing with a 110km marathon paddling event from Moonee Moonee Bridge up the Hawkesbury River on the 28th June taking 3 days, concluding on Sunday 1st July at Windsor, where aFamily Fun Day (9am-4pm) will be held- you can download the event flyer by clicking the image right.

Allan Woods plans to paddle the entire 110 kms, which is against the tide for the entire journey!

This Paddle-A-Thon is undertaken as a pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) awareness raising campaign in memory of Lesley Woods who passed away from PAH in 2010.
